- Work out the name of the blacklist you are enrolled with.
- Visit the corresponding website for the blacklist
- Read the information provided on that website.
- Follow the instructions provided on the website.

You can check your name, your domain name or I.P address if it is listed among the spammers using this tool. Google can provide you with one such tool. But the search is only limited to the news for the net abusers. Relay Database: (ORDB)
In order to have your relay removed from ORDB, submit your host IP with their checking queue. The link for IP address resubmitting is http://ordb.org/submit/
The confirmation process takes time and it is confirmed if you are no longer an open relay. If your IP is not removed yet check for more errors, fix and resubmit.
Spamcop Blocking List
If you stop spamming then you will be de-listed within 48 hours, automatically. If, however you are not the spammer and just accused to be one then you need to forward the following to the mailto:blproblem@admin.spamcop.net.
- The complete spam report.
- Proof for the user in question to be the subscriber for your list.
Spam Prevention Early Warning System. (SPEWS)
This blocking system is used for personal blocking of spammers. If you get in to this list then only the person who has submitted you can remove you. The solution here is: switch your IP address.

You will find the removal procedure at the bottom of every Spamhaus black list rerecord page. The email link is also provided to contact the Spamhuas Black List. Every address is provided with the SbL reference number. Don't forget to put this number for your address in the subject line or else your email will be rejected.
