Is Ranbir Kapoor FC Barcelona's India Ambassador?

Here's an interesting bit of news doing the rounds: Ranbir Kapoor has been appointed a 'brand ambassador' for FC Barcelona. We're thinking a cola giant has helped him in this endeavour to promote the Spanish team.

RK was spotted showing off his team jersey at Wembley stadium, hours before Barcelona beat Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday.

We're sure RK's fans will love to know this, though we're not sure how die-hard football fans will respond.

Ranbir Kapoor isn't the first Bollywood star to 'support' a top football team. Some time back, Abhishek Bachchan was spotted going all out and supporting his favourite football team Chelsea FC. Attending Chelsea games and promoting its initiatives in Asia were among the activities Bachchan Junior was involved in.

Wonder if we'll see Ranbir teach Messi & Co a thing or two about football... like he did with Sehwag!
