DANCER James Hobley pirouetted through to Saturday's Britain's Got Talent final after getting the thumbs up from the judges.

Scouse impressionist Les Gibson also bagged a place in the final last night after winning the public vote.
Simon Cowell, David Hasselhoff and Michael McIntyre all voted for James, 11, from Redcar, North Yorks.
After securing his place on Saturday's show James said: "They're the favourite judges in the world and I want to say thank you to all the people who voted."
Simon led the praise for James, who uses his passion for dance to battle autism. He said: "I thought you were absolutely brilliant."

And the Hoff backed him to go all the way, saying: "He is my all-time favourite to win this competition. Yeah."
Amanda Holden told the dancer, who performed to Leona Lewis's Happy: "You expressed everything tonight. You really moved me."
Les, 41, who mimicked Ant and Dec, said: "It feels fantastic. I want to thank everyone for voting. It's an overwhelming feeling."

Bell-ringers Aeolian Chimes came third - only getting the nod from Amanda. She told them: "You were fantastic. One of the main prizes is to perform for the Queen and I'm going with what she would want to see."

Avril Lavigne, who sang new single Smile, said her favourites were James and singer Jay Worley.

BGT'S Jean Martyn has told how her boyfriend has been ordered by doctors not to get too excited during Saturday's final - because he could send his PACEMAKER into overdrive.
Bob Ware, 70, who is also Jean's manager, has been the boogie-woogie pianist's "rock" for the past five years.
But he has endured three "horrific" heart operations in the past month.
Eccentric Jean - who thrilled the judges with her semi-final performance on Tuesday - said: "The doctors have told him that if he gets really excited the pacemaker will start to flutter, so I am trying to keep him calm - but it is difficult.

"This has opened a whole new window for me. I can't believe it is happening. I keep saying to him, 'Bob, for goodness sake don't get too excited!'"
Gran Jean, 59, from Staffs, met "very young and trendy" septuagenarian Bob after going through a harrowing divorce.
He was also going through a difficult time after suddenly losing his beloved wife Jenny to a heart attack.
Jean, who has a 30-year-old son, Scott, played the organ at the memorial service and later asked Bob to act as a chaperone for her when she travelled to gigs.
The pair keep separate homes because "wonderful" Bob is "too messy" - but she hopes that one day they might wed. Jean told TV Biz how she had planned to QUIT if she hadn't managed to break into showbiz by the time she turned 60 on June 20 this year.
She said: "I was going to retire on my 60th birthday, in 19 days, because I thought that my showbiz dream was over and I hadn't made anything of my life.
"But now I hope to still be rocking into my 90s - just like the pensioners that I entertain."
Jean's proud mum and dad have been following her BGT dream - despite being housebound. Their daughter takes her organ and plays it on the end of their bed so they can enjoy her music. Bert and Violet Watterson - who are 93 and 92 and have been married for 72 years - were delighted at her semi-final performance.
Jean said: "My mum has suffered strokes and my dad is blind but he heard me on the telly. My dad said to my mum, 'Hey duck, our Jean's made it to the final!'"

Amanda Holden compared Jean to a can of energy drink Red Bull after she wowed the panel with her performance.
Screeching with laughter, Jean said: "I am full of plenty of fizz and action, that's true! But I was really prepared for it to go one way or the other.
"I was waiting for Simon to say it's not his cup of tea, then he said he shouldn't like it but he did and I was delighted."
Jean will be supported in the audience by her son Scott and daughter-in-law Jacqueline - parents of her granddaughters Milla and Anya Parker-Copestick, aged one and two.
She has "no idea" what she will perform for the final and even changed Tuesday night's performance one hour before going on stage.
Jean said: "An hour before the show I had my organ balanced on an ironing board and was working out a new routine because they said it wasn't showcasing my ability enough. Anything could happen."

STUNNED boyband New Bounce show their shock at making the final - and reckoned Simon helped them get there.
Mitchell Zhangazha, 16, Kuan Fyre, 13, MJ Sanneh, 12, and James Anderson, 12, couldn't believe it when they made it because they did so badly in their first audition.
Mitchell said: "We didn't have the best first audition so we were shocked."

But they reckon Simon, right - who branded them "the ones to beat" during Tuesday's semi-final - gave them a boost. James said: "To know Simon was on the panel made us perform better."
And they hope they can prove him right and go all the way. The lads say they will undergo intensive preparations for the final, when they'll be up against fellow youngster Ronan Parke, 12.
James said: "There's less dancing this time so we're focusing on our singing. We'll show a different side to us. We want to show we have talent."

A source said: "The lads strolled in with their burly bodyguards completely unannounced.
"The club sorted out a roped-off VIP area which quickly caught the attention of clubbers, especially the female contingent.
"The lads were up for causing a bit of mischief so they ordered the mega round of tequilas which went down a storm.
"It was like they were celebrating some big news.
"But it was just a normal night out for the band. They like everyone to get involved in the drinking." The band were inspired to get their huge round in after noticing other tables were having more fun than them.
They soon put paid to that, ushering waiters over to put in their order.
The source added: "The bar was filled with shot glasses and it took staff ages to top up every glass.

Woman lives on Monster Munch for 10 years

CHAMBERMAID Debbie Taylor eats nothing but Monster Munch, and has done for the past ten years.

The 31-year-old says: "I was 11 when I last ate a proper meal. I think it was a roast dinner with vegetables. For the past ten years I have lived on nothing but beef Monster Munch crisps.
"Throughout my teens I had trouble with food, going through periods of anorexia and bulimia.
"Around the age of 15 I started selective eating. I thought it was a sign my anorexia and bulimia were getting better.
"I began with toast sprinkled with salt. I enjoyed the taste and the lack of fatty butter or margarine.
"A few years later I moved to dry roasted peanuts, then came custard creams and finally beef-flavoured Monster Munch.
"They don't make me sick or leave me feeling full. I love the taste and sometimes, if I'm lucky, there will be a ball of pure flavouring at the bottom of the pack. Usually I eat three 45g bags a day - two in the afternoon and one in the evening.
"If I overdo it I get a sore throat because of the additives and have to drink lots of tea or Coca-Cola, which are the only liquids I consume."
Debbie, lives with partner Gerald, 55, and her 11-year-old son Luke in Harlow, Essex. She says: "They just have to put up with me. When I was pregnant I made sure to eat properly and I still cook them both wholesome food.
"I know I have a bad diet. My nails don't grow much and just break off. When I brush my teeth my gums bleed.
"It's not healthy but then neither is smoking and lots of people do that.
"I have tried to eat normally but the tummy pain I get isn't worth it. The doctor reckons it is because my stomach has shrunk so much.
"I know it sounds crazy but I don't see myself changing my eating habits any time soon."
Selective eating like Debbie's is recognised as an eating disorder with serious health implications.
Susan Ringwood, of eating disorder charity Beat, says: "Previously, selective eaters were seen as youngsters, particularly boys, who survive solely on things like chips and sandwiches.
"Recent research shows more adults are doing it too although there is no data to know exactly how prevalent it is."
Sufferers typically focus on consuming just a few types of high-fat or carbohydrate food and can go for years without eating anything else.
Experts believe such dedication reflects deeper issues which must be addressed to overcome the illness.
Susan says: "We are learning more about the reasons someone becomes anorexic, bulimic or starts to eat selectively.
"Often people are genetically hard-wired to be vulnerable to eating disorders and various societal and cultural factors can trigger their development.
"Selective eaters may be feeling their world is spinning out of control. One way to impose order on the chaos is to restrict their diet.
"If you suspect someone is a selective eater you shouldn't challenge them about their diet.
"Ask if there is anything going on they would like to talk about.
"Their thoughts and feelings are the real issue, not the food."

I only eat Yorkshire puddings

'I've always been a selective eater' ... Yorkshire pudding-addict Aaron

IF you are what you eat, 21-year-old Aaron Saunder would be a Yorkshire pudding.
The mobile phone technician says: "I have always been a selective eater. My mum said that as a toddler I had no interest in food and that I was on powdered milk until I was about seven.
"Texture has always been my biggest problem and I only like plain-tasting food.
"I only eat safe textures and if something is not quite the same all the way through, if it's inconsistent - hard in some places, soft in others - that will really put me off.
"The first thing I remember eating is buttered rolls and the odd chocolate bar.
"By the time I was 11 I would either have a plate of Yorkshire puddings, two big pancakes or a plate of boiled potatoes. I didn't like gravy or ketchup or anything, just salt - or if I was having pancakes, sugar. My normal day would be pints of milk or energy drinks in the day, no water, and just one meal in the evening.
"Usually my mum would make me 12 Yorkshire puddings - I only ate the home-made ones.
"Christmas Day wouldn't be any different for me, Mum would still make me a plate of Yorkshire puddings.
"Sometimes when I got up I would feel dizzy and my mum took me to see nutritionists. But they have always said I'm bang on my BMI so they have never really had a problem.

"I have to try something about 15 times before I even start to like it and if I really hate it then it's hard to ever try it again."
Aaron, of Norwich, Norfolk, continues: "I don't eat proper meals, I just drink a lot of milk and eat cheese spread sandwiches, that's the best I can do right now.
"I have learnt to like cereal and pizzas and to drink water and I think my health is better now.
"My normal day would be to have a bowl of cereal and pint of milk for breakfast, cheese spread sandwiches and a pint of milk for lunch and a cheese spread sandwich then bed.
"I found out that I'm in the top ten per cent of people with an unusually high number of taste buds on my tongue.
"That must mean I taste things differently to most people. People have suggested that it's to do with family issues or something in my childhood but I don't agree.
"I can't think of one thing in my childhood where something happened and I went off food - I was never on food to begin with."

RECEPTIONIST JoJo Collins sticks firmly to a diet of Marmite sarnies - with the occasional snack of plain crisps as she can't face the texture of other foods.
The 20-year-old explains: "When I was a baby I caught a bug and Mum was told to take me off solids until it passed.
"After I recovered it was impossible to get me to eat normally again.
"I'd shake my head when she tried to feed me solid food and if I got a mouthful I'd spit it out.
"More than 18 years later I still have issues surrounding what I eat.
"My diet consists of Marmite sandwiches and the odd packet of crisps.
"I start the day with Marmite on toast, then I have a Marmite sandwich, with two rounds for lunch and the same for dinner.
Parties "If I'm hungry I'll snack on two packets of ready salted crisps.
"I discovered I liked this diet when I was a little girl of three.
"At other kids' parties I would take along my own packed lunch because I wouldn't eat the same goodies as everyone else.
"Now I work in a country garage where the whole team has to bring in their lunch so I don't feel odd about it any more."
JoJo, of Colchester, Essex, adds: "Eating out can be embarrassing because you have to constantly explain why you only eat bread and crisps.
"Often I just say I'm not hungry.
"Although I'm single now, I managed to date a boyfriend for a year without him discovering what I ate.
"People always think I must be ill but according to my doctor I'm perfectly healthy. The only nutrient I lack is iron. I'm a happy person but I know selective eating doesn't enhance my life. Usually it gets in the way.
"I tried hypnotherapy but it was too expensive to carry on. The therapist suggested I'm associating food with being ill but that's not how I feel. It's the texture of strange foods I can't get to grips with.
"I'd love to eat normally but it's really hard to change my diet after living like this for so long."

31,000 OAPs face care home crisis

PM David Cameron yesterday vowed to protect 31,000 elderly residents in care homes run by crisis-hit Southern Cross.

The company, which runs nearly 750 UK homes, is on the brink of bankruptcy.
Mr Cameron's official spokesman offered a "guarantee" that the residents will not lose out if the firm collapses. He said they will be able to stay in their present homes or move to another facility.
The spokesman said: "We will do what we need to do to ensure that there is effective protection for anyone affected. We are putting the interests of the residents first."
Southern Cross was bought by US private equity firm Blackstone in 2004. Blackstone's boss is flashy Stephen Schwarzman, 64, ranked the 52nd richest person in America.

His company floated Southern Cross on the Stock Exchange in 2006 and saw its market value double in a year. Blackstone ditched its stake just before the financial crisis hit in 2007.
Southern Cross has struggled with falling fees from local authorities and soaring rent and borrowing costs.
Tory MP Sarah Wollaston, a GP, said: "It can't be right that people can make a fast buck and clear out leaving taxpayers to pick up the bill."
GMB union chief Paul Kenny, who has 12,000 members working in the care homes, blamed the crisis on "a combination of privatisation and private equity".

'Killer cucumber' cases in the UK

THE killer cucumber bug which has led to the deaths of 17 people in Europe has reached Britain.

Three Brits in the UK have been infected with "an entirely new super-toxic" strain of E.coli linked to the German outbreak.
Chinese and German scientists have been working round the clock to identify the strain, which has struck people in 10 countries.
The Beijing Genomics Institute has revealed it contains several genes that are resistant to antibiotics.
The Britons' infections bring the total number of cases in the UK to seven. Four cases are among German nationals.
They all developed the potentially deadly complication of haemolytic uraemic syndrome (HUS).
The victims either went to A&E, NHS walk-in centres or had been to their GP, the HPA said.
The cases are all linked to 'travel in Germany' where 16 people have died while one person was killed in Sweden.
Germany has had more than 1,500 infections so far with cases reported in nine countries including the UK.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) says the killer strain responsible for the European outbreak has never been detected before.
And Russia has now announced that it is banning the import of all fresh vegetables from the European Union.

The latest shocking developments come just days after Brits were urged not to panic as thousands avoided buying salad.  The bug has been found on imported veg across Europe - but the exact source of the contamination has not yet been determined, according to the HPA and WHO.
Health chiefs who blamed Spanish cucumbers for causing the outbreak may be sued after tests in Hamburg, Germany, proved they were not responsible.
Spain said it "did not rule out taking action".
A Food Standards Agency spokesman said: "There is no evidence that any affected cucumbers have been distributed to the UK."
Health experts advised washing salad to avoid the bug, which causes kidney failure.

Teen sells kidney to pay for iPad 2

A CHINESE teenager wanted the new iPad 2 so badly he sold one of his KIDNEYS to pay for it.

The 17-year-old — identified only by his surname Zheng — confessed to his mother that he flogged the organ for just £2,000.
He claimed to have seen an advert online offering the cash to whoever wanted to become an organ donor.
The technology obsessed lad, from the southern province of Guangdong, said: "I wanted to buy an iPad 2, but I didn't have the money.
"When I surfed the internet I found an advert posted online by agent saying they were able to pay RMB20,000 (£2,000) to buy a kidney."
Trading human organs online is very common in China despite repeated attempts by the government to stamp it out.
Last year Japanese TV reported that a group of tourists had travelled to the country and paid £50,000 for new kidneys.
The lad — who has suffered complications since the surgery — was unable to keep what he had done from his mum.
The boy's mother — Miss Liu — told cops: "When he came back, he had a laptop and a new Apple handset.
"I wanted to know how he had got so much money and he finally confessed that he had sold one of his kidneys."
The hospital, in the city of Chenzhou in Hunan Province, where the op took place admitted renting out a department to a private businessman but denied any knowledge of the surgery.
Cops said the mobiles of three agents Zheng had contacted had been switched off.
The incident has caused outrage in China where thousands of people have slammed the "immorality" of youths.

A MAN arrested after a three-hour siege at a bank was carrying a bomb.

Military and armed police surrounded the Co-operative bank, in Market Street, Watford, after the suspect threatened staff, Hertfordshire Police said.
The 23-year-old man was forced on to his knees outside the bank as he was arrested by officers.
The black-haired suspect was seen wearing a short-sleeved white shirt and black trousers as he was held.
Sources said the incident was not thought to be terrorist-related.
A spokeswoman said at the time: "An explosive device of some kind - as yet we don't know what this is - has been removed from this individual."
Police were called to the bank at 10.18am to reports of a man threatening to harm members of staff.
Specialist firearms teams and military bomb disposal experts attended the scene in the centre of the town.
Witnesses described police marksmen aiming their guns at the bank and reported rumours that the man had a bomb strapped to his body.
Pat Sullivan, who works at local damp-proofing firm M Mansell, said police closed the main roads around the bank and the ring road, causing traffic to back up.
She said: "I've forced my way through the barriers to get in.
"There's so many people out there - the police, police cars, fire engines, press and, I guess, bomb disposal teams.

THE court battle over the gag stopping The Sun naming Sir Fred Goodwin's Royal Bank of Scotland mistress descended into farce yesterday.

There was laughter as the QC for the woman - who held a senior role at RBS - insisted she would have acted responsibly if a complaint had been made about him.
The court had heard she may have been in a position to know of any staff grumbles about Sir Fred's running of the bank - leading to a potential conflict of interest.
Her lawyers deny there was any connection between her fling with the ex-chief exec and RBS's near collapse.
The Sun is barred from telling readers the woman's job or employment history at RBS.
But our QC Richard Spearman told London's High Court yesterday: "It is plainly a matter of real, genuine, public interest.
"The lady in question had a role in which she might have expected to be the recipient of information from employees who had concerns about how the company was run.
"If she was having an affair with the chief executive of the company then a conflict of interest arises."
He suggested it might have been possible for someone in the woman's job to "kill off an inquiry" out of loyalty to Sir Fred, 52. He added: "Sunlight should be shed on dark corners of this case."

He said the public has the right to know what happened at RBS - now propped up with £50billion of taxpayers' cash.
But the woman's QC Hugh Tomlinson yesterday insisted: "There is no evidence that the relationship had anything to do with the collapse of the Royal Bank of Scotland. There is no evidence of wrongdoing."
He claimed there was no public interest in revealing her name.
No complaints were ever made about married dad-of-two Sir Fred, who was forced out in 2008 after eight years at the helm. The woman also insists she was not promoted during the affair.
Last month Mr Justice Tugendhat lifted a ban preventing newspapers revealing that Sir Fred had an affair with the woman.
He made the ruling after Liberal Democrat peer Lord Stoneham used Parliamentary privilege to name the fallen banker in the House of Lords.
The Financial Services Authority will examine whether there was any breach of corporate governance rules.
Sir Fred was nicknamed Fred the Shred for his brutal costcutting style. He swaggered off with a pension of £700,000 a year and a lump sum of nearly £3million.
But following public outrage he agreed to reduce his payout by £342,000 a year. He lives in a mansion with Joyce, his wife of more than 20 years.
A High Court judge made the original gagging order in March after Sir Fred discovered The Sun planned to reveal the affair.
The Sun was even blocked from identifying Sir Fred as a banker. A ruling is expected at the end of next week

FREELOADING Eurocrats have spent £7million of taxpayers' cash on private jets, posh hotels and even Tiffany jewellery.

EU chiefs blew the vast sums as recession-hit economies across Europe face massive budget cuts and beg for billions in IMF bail-outs.
The shameful waste includes £6.5MILLION on private jet travel for Commissioners between 2006 and 2010. Another £17,500 went on luxury gifts for guest speakers between 2008 and 2010.
The presents included Tiffany jewellery, cufflinks and fountain pens.
In 2009, cocktail parties alone accounted for £260,000 of expenditure.
A £24,500 bill was run up by EU President Jose Manuel Barroso and eight aides during a four-night stay at New York's £680-a-night Peninsula Hotel.
Officials splashed out £65,700 for an event in Amsterdam where guests were promised a "night filled with wonder".
The Commission also treated officials and their families to away days at top resorts in Papua New Guinea and Ghana.
On one occasion, a delegation of 44 Commission staff based in Hanoi, Vietnam, were flown to the country's five-star Palm Garden Resort at Cua Dai Beach for an "annual away day".

The latest figures have been unearthed by the Bureau of Investigative Journalism at London's City University.
The Commission is currently proposing a 4.9 per cent rise in its 2012 budget. In October 2010 PM David Cameron claimed victory after keeping the increase this year to 2.9 per cent. It was set to be six per cent.
But it still meant an extra £430million for Europe's coffers.
Emma Boon, of the Taxpayers' Alliance, said: "This is a disgrace.
"They are spending on luxury goods and private jets whilst we are cutting spending at home."Independent Austrian MEP Martin Ehrehauser said: "This makes the gap between citizens and the EU bureaucracy even bigger and deeper."
The European Commission confirmed the figures but insisted the spending was "justified."
