Is this 'The End'? We hope so.

It is not ‘the end’ end, of which I speak. Please sit up, and read on. Thanks. Nostradamus, the Maya, the world-ending mob et al, are all very interesting, but not so accurate. Nostradamians seem quite satisfied that his predictions, written in verse and in very obscure language, are ‘true’. Whatever.
Not that we should try to dampen predictive enthusiasm. Everyone is entitled to try describing the future. The Maya civilisation were a clever lot, so we raise a glass, toasting their contribution. But, they didn’t actually say, that December 21, 2012 or any other specific date, would be Kick-the-Universal-Bucket-Day.
Doomsayers have been hogging the headlines forever, pestering us with their crazy rantings, and then, quietly disappearing, when our little planet continued. We need to focus on real people, doing real things, in real time. So, I am recommending ‘the end’ of a few things that will help our world, like now!
For starters, we want ‘the end’ of ‘them’ versus ‘us’. This has caused ALL of the world’s problems, since T-Rex started having dating problems. I offer my TRI>SET© model, as a mini-process to solve this. To ‘us’ and ‘them’ I add... ‘we’. Now we can create more co-operative ‘We-doms’(nice title from Roseann Gedye).
The world is too inter-connected and needing mutuality, to allow this confrontational modus operandi to persist.  But, there is merit in fair and equitable competition. This underpins the world’s most successful business system, ‘free enterprise’. As long as it is competently supervised, with checks and balances.

And, it can be fun to provide a contest in various endeavours such as sport and scholastics. We want to see ‘the end’ of ‘hindsight management’ where we only discover flaws after the effect. My TRI>SET© model adds ‘predictive management’ and ‘awareness management’ to complete this future business strategy.
For those of you fine readers, not familiar with such power-management styles, do ask. There are plenty of examples of damaging ‘hindsight management’ from drug creation and car manufacture (do you recall, the recalls?) to war plans and nuclear energy. Our vote is for... ‘awareness management’, of course.
It is time for ‘the end’ of gender inequality. In case nobody noticed, our species, like most, have a male and female component. Each has a unique, joint role, in our world. If one gender should disappear, the other will soon follow, regardless of the rabitting on, about eventual synthetic babies. Yeah right!
This means dispensing with the totally flawed notion that, somehow ‘boy people’ are more important than the ‘girl people’ and therefore, that males should mostly decide the terms of reference for living. It is already very obvious, that our world so far, has been screwed up by... the predictable paternal posse.
‘The end’ to so-called ‘political correctness’ should be nigh. The abbreviation ‘PC’ really means ‘person control’ or ‘people control’. It is essential to protect minority rights everywhere. But, the recent reversal of the ruling that crucifixes in Catholic Italy’s classrooms violated human rights, was a victory for ‘uncommon’ common sense.

Amidst the greatest series of tragic world events within the first quarter of any calendar year, since World War II, now is a good time for us all, as individuals, to seek ways of bringing to an end, everything that is not the best for all. Do it now, before the Martians land. Keep an eye out... They could be on their way.
