Freema Agyeman joins Sex & The City prequel

Actress Freema Agyeman, who older readers may remember played companion Martha Jones in the David Tennant era, has been cast in the new series The Carrie Diaries, a prequel to the hit series, Sex & The City. Website Deadline Hollywood reports that Agyeman will be playing Carrie’s [Bradshaw] mentor Larissa, a hip, cutting-edge editor/party girl who works at Interview magazine.
