President Obama Talks Politics And Life On Oprah

It was a first for the Oprah show.
She endorsed President Obama during his '08 campaign, but she's never had a sitting president and the first lady appear on her talk show before.
President Obama and Michelle talked about life in the White House in an interview that was taped last week, just days before a mission was to be carried out to kill Osama bin Laden.
Seeming cool and collected, Obama talked about living inside the "the bubble" of presidency and missing out on some of his daughters' growing up and their most memorable moments.
He also spoke about the absurdity around the birth certificate controversy, calling those who seek attention "carnival barkers." He told Oprah that "reality TV is seeping into how we think about our politics."
Obama also revealed that he believes that many think the American dream is "slipping away." He wants his legacy to provide hope for the American people and know that there is always opportunity if they work hard and do the right things.
With the killing of the world's #1 terrorist, Obama has definitely restored a feeling of pride and hope in the American people. We have a feeling that Obama's legacy will be quite an extraordinary one.
