Taste Buds, formerly known as Cupcake Kids, offers various cupcake and other food classes in New York City. Their adult cupcake classes are coming up May 19, June 23 and July 21, and starting August 1st there's a cupcakes and cookies class for 9-13-year-olds and 4-8-year-olds.
But the one that intrigued me most is their Cake Pops class, to be held May 26th from 4-6 pm, for 7-13-year-olds at 109 West 27th Street:
Join us for a 2 hour Cake Pops workshop! We will focus on baking the perfect Chocolate and Red Velvet Cakes and whipping up fluffy Cream Cheese Frosting and mold our cake pops. Then we will take our cake pops to the next level and turn them into works of art We will dip our cake pops in chocolate and decorate them with different themes (like farm animals) or just get creative with your cake pops. Every young chef will take home a box of cake pops that they have baked, designed, and decorated!
