A stuntman has died in an accident on the Bulgarian set of The Expendables 2, NuImage/Millenium Films
confirms.
"It is with great regret that we confirm this unfortunate accident," the film studio said in a statement. "Our hearts go out to the families and those on the production affected by this tragedy. The filmmakers are working closely with the authorities in responding to and investigating this accident."
The stuntman was reportedly working on a scene with a fake bomb explosion, but more details about the nature of his accidental death have been released yet.
The movie is a sequel to last year's hit action flick that starred iconic action stars like Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Jet Li and Jason Statham. Arnold Schwarzengger, Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme have joined the cast for the second installment.
