June 1st The Google Base API Is Shutting Down

This is just a reminder to those who are still utilizing the Google Base API. In about a month, June 1, 2011, the Google Base API will be shut down.
We warned you about this in December, with our post named Google Sunsetting Base API For Two Shopping APIs. As I said then, Replacing the Base API will be two new Shopping APIs, the Content API and Search API.
Google sent out a reminder about this change this week via the Google Merchant Center Help forums. Ronald from Google said:

Back in December, we announced that on June 1, 2011, the Google Base Data API will be decommissioned and it will no longer be possible to submit or access content through the Base API.To replace the Base API, we've introduced two new Shopping APIs: Content API and Search API. If you currently use the Base API for managing your products on Google Product Search, you should prepare for the June 1 change by migrating to the new APIs as soon as possible.

So if you are still using the Google Base API, you only have a month to start using the other APIs.
