Agfa HealthCare announced that its ORBIS solution will replace the
existing HIS/CIS (Hospital Information System/Clinical Information
System) in the Städtisches Klinikum Karlsruhe, Germany. The 1500-bed
hospital is a German 'maximum-care hospital', with 22 medical
departments and four institutes providing care to 57,000 in-patients and
161,000 out-patients every year.
Städtisches Klinikum Karlsruhe plans to take ORBIS live in January
2012.
